Sapphic Spice LA started the way all great queer revolutions do: with a femme saying, “fine, I’ll do it myself.”
Our Story
For years, founder Saffron Seraphim dreamed of a space that felt like home: a place where sapphic kinksters could play without performing, where intimacy wasn’t the price of entry, but queer joy was. She wanted a space where community came first- where connection, laughter, and femme desire could coexist without the gaze of men.
The idea might have remained a dream if not for Ember Eclipse. When Saffron voiced her frustration (loudly, in a public pool) Ember, who barely knew her at the time, immediately saw the vision and refused to let it stay hypothetical. She had the same hunger for a space like this, and the drive to make it real.
Together, they became the heart of Sapphic Spice: Saffron as the creative spark and emotional pulse, Ember as the force that turned vision into action.
Their first event sold out before they could catch their breath. From there, the community grew: a living, breathing network of sapphics hungry for authenticity and belonging.
Every detail of Sapphic Spice was crafted with intention: a vetted community of femme sapphics who understand consent, communication, and the depth of play. A space where kinksters can explore or simply exist, both equally celebrated. Sapphic Spice is proof of what happens when need becomes creation, and creation becomes community. It began as a spark between two femmes, and has since become a flame lighting the way for many more.
Our Mission
Sapphic Spice was built on three core beliefs: sapphic spaces deserve more than just a shared identity, intimacy should never be the price of admission, and community is what makes us more than just a party.
Too often, sapphic events begin and end with the label. Being sapphic becomes the entire experience. We don’t accept that.
We spend countless hours crafting events with true individuality, structure, and genuinely fun experiences. Sapphics deserve more than the promise of proximity. We deserve experiences that are immersive, intentional, and alive. Themes that transform a space. Something crafted. Something elevated. Something unforgettable. Spaces people want to be in, whether they’re sapphic or not. But here, sapphics hold the keys to the kingdom. This experience is curated and reserved exclusively for us.
Similarly, the kink community often centers play as the sole form of connection at parties.
No one should feel like they owe intimacy just to belong in the room. We create spaces where intimacy is free to exist, but never required to participate. We offer more than just the ability to be intimate with others. Whether you're monogamous, anxious, or just not interested in public play, you deserve community in kink spaces where you aren't left to chat in a corner.
Most importantly, we’re not here for one night.
We are building a community that lives beyond individual events. A space where familiar faces return, where connections deepen between events, and where people can settle in and feel safe. To feel truly known and loved by their community. For those who show up consistently, we promise endless friendship, support, and community.
