Meet the Founders

Saffron Seraphim is the co-creator, creative force, and glitter-covered brain behind Sapphic Spice. A femme Iranian-American lesbian, she’s been active in the kink community since 2015 and joined the Los Angeles scene in 2018. Known for her warmth, humor, and knack for blending heart with heat, she’s become a respected fireplay professional, teaching, demoing, and running taster booths that quite literally light up every event she touches.

As a queer woman of color, Saffron is deeply committed to intersectionality and believes in building spaces where identity isn’t just welcomed, but centered and celebrated. Equal parts organizer, educator, and social butterfly, she somehow juggles vision boards, playlists, and fire wands with divine precision. When she’s not lighting spaces (or people) on fire, Saffron works as a film editor and photographer, and can usually be found at a live show, chasing the next perfect bass drop.

Under her guidance, Sapphic Spice has grown into a thriving femme-first society filled with laughter, leather, and love, reminding every sapphic sister that pleasure is power, and joy is revolutionary.
